My Mother was born in Rio de Janeiro in Brasil in 1951, and my Grandmother is from the State of minas Gerais and grew up in Brasilia, the new capital of Brasil.  I was born in the United States, and my Father and my Grandfather are both American, but I have dual citizenship.

I grew up speaking Portuguese and only learned English second, but it eventually became my mother tongue and I am not at a native speaking or writing level in Portuguese.  I have been traveling back and forth from Brasil since I was a kid, and I have about 7 family households in various locations throughout the country - mostly near Sao Paulo.  Here are some photos...
